Stream Pompeya’s New “Tropical Remix” Album
IMHO I think the remix of their relatively new album is better than the original. I can play it all the way through without a strong urge to press the skip button. The energy is just better. I guess it’s easier to do that when the foundation has already been laid though. Check it out below and see what you think.

What a good week for this song to come through. I will be checking out their Tropical Remixed album when it comes out Jan 21st. The original version of Tropical was nice to listen and I expect this new version will have a lot more energy so I’m in.

I fux with this joint. Tropical Remix is due out December 10, I may have to check it out.
Cleo Sol – Borderline
This was the first thing I saw in the inbox and I’m glad I listened to it. It’s an interesting on Kendrick Lamar’s “The Recipe”. Cleo Sol did an excellent job at making it her own song.
Owl Eyes – Nightswim (Fractures remix)
I like this song, it has a special type of energy. The sound of the vocalist’s voice makes it easy to listen to. The build up in the bridge was not overly done. The remix is more synth driven and the original is more techno like.
Phoenix – Trying to be Cool (Original & Soul Clap remix)
Where have I been? Phoenix has dropped a single and a new album and I failed to realize that. Definitely will have to get me a listen to Bankrupt, until then enjoy this offering.

Every once in a while you can find those diamonds in the rough, too bad the original version of this song lacks the energy that the remix has. Enjoy
