So I’m having trouble keeping up with what albums are due out for the rest of the year and when they come out. So I’m pretty much putting together this list as something to reference when I get ready to fiend for some new music. These are all of the albums that I can list right now and feel free to add to the list because lord knows my memory is not what it used to be. Album of the year lists will be interesting that’s for sure.

Drake – Nothing Was The Same (September 24)
Danny Brown – Old (September 30)
Vic Mensa – INNANETAPE (September 30)

Tag: Release Date
Snakadaktal – Hung on Tight
Pretty nice song, I wonder what Sleep In The Water will sound like when it drops August 2nd. This song just has that good feel to it, something easy to listen to.
DOM Kennedy – Never
Interesting, Get Home Safe due out sometime this year.
Tyler, The Creator: Wolf (album stream)
Well since you are not likely to find this on 2db nor Nahright, lmao, then you can listen to it on soundcloud. This was nice to wake up to, you can expect some eclectic productions and some funny ass lyrics. Enjoy!

Let’s Talk About the Good songs off A$AP Mob’s “Lord$ Never Worry”
As we all know by now, not every member of the mob has skills. We may have been excited to hear the project but in the back of our minds we all knew that there had to be some sacrifices. These mishaps came because for the sake of remaining a close group every member needs their time to shine. I was surprised how many appearances Rocky had and I was satisfied with the amount of work that A$AP Ferg put into the project, no pun intended. Alright so here’s the songs that I feel are worthy of taking up your precious space on your pod. Continue reading
Passion Pit’s ‘Gossamer’ album full stream!
Damn this joint is scheduled to drop July 24th, no comment. I had my thoughts about putting this album up for full stream but it seems that a lot of the big name sites have already done so, so F it. I’m not going to review this joint but in my opinion the first half of the album dwarfs the second half. Enjoy this full stream with a tracklist after the link. Continue reading
ForeverFC – 704 (Review)
For the 4th of July ForeverFC has also decided to drop a mixtape/compilation. I still think that these guys should be getting more hype. To me Lute’s West1996 set the bar for this group so I’m expecting to hear some growth and hopefully this new project will reveal that. Let’s see what they have to offer now. Continue reading
Childish Gambino – Royalty (review)
Thanks Childish Gambino for dropping this mixtape at a decent time! I’ve been waiting for this tape since I heard some of his recent tracks. I have not listened to this tape yet so this review will contain my first listen thoughts. Let’s get into it! Continue reading

Oddisee – People Hear What They See (Album Review)
Oddisee has been on the move lately, with the recent release of Odd Renditions and now a near album, he is ensuring that its his time to shine! I’m sure that people are still blasting that “Gold Is Mine” but when they get a whiff of what Oddisee has on ‘People Hear What They See’, things might change for the better. Oddisee is an artist from the DMV but with his move to Brooklyn his new album was sure for some surprises. Known for his stimulating productions and true to life lyrics Oddisee is a force to be reckoned with and ‘People Hear What They See’ is that initial boost so it was only proper for us to review it. Let’s get into it… Continue reading
