Ab-Soul & Kendrick Lamar Freestyle

I don’t think anybody else should ever try to rap again in the history of man cause these ni99as can spit. If you ever dreamed of spitting with at such a high level and you haven’t blown yet then you got a long ways to go. The words they spat were so powerful that I said screw the beat, that doesn’t occur often.

Crazy Verse: 4 Ize – Mouthing Off

This verse still gets me 12 years later. He had some nice wordplay and plenty of  humorous lines. He kinda stole the show from Ludacris on this one. Get a listen.

Yo, I am going to blow up the Earth
With my Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator
Buddha be praised, you meditator
Drop Squad interrogator, 85 percent regulator
The Educator and the Almighty Creator, dedicator
The seperater of fiction, I spark friction
Smoking “Hay” without the Crucial Conflict-ion
4-Ize prescription: microphone. Jackie Stallone
Psychic prediction, Egyptian description
Of my physical, my flesh is weak and it’s pitiful
Spiritual is hooked up to the invisible
Umbilical cord of my Lord, Kumbiya Devine Kah
Remove paper of tar from every cigar
I slap authority like Gabor, Zsa Zsa
Half Allah, Half Antichrist Superstar
Rocking the microphone with a hand like Dr. Claw
While I’m hitting trees harder than Sonny Bono
Double Dragon, mixed up with an Abobo
I kill villains in slow-mo for talking crazy in my dojo
Got nothing to lose, like I’m a boxcar hobo
When I get Ludacris with Bridges on the promo
Niggas wanna clown, I’m Homey and Bozo
Cause in the Grand Prize Game, my Life Calling like Jo Jo
The name sticks like Toto
I keep it realer than alien autopsy photo
You similar to a Spice Girl going solo
You lost like BeBe, or a dog named Toto
My statue of liberty is Rebecca Lobo
We Cop Robo, virgo
Bust ass like a motherfucking homo, como estas?
Tony Del Negro, built to destroy these kids’ blocks of Legos
L’eggo my Eggo cause I say so
Hold the microphone, 4-Ize, I stay gifted
Manifested, elevated, I uplifted
The elevator, the esclator. “That’s not a knife?
That’s a knife!” Crocodile Dundee, the alligator rustler
Cause I hustle ya, under the China
Big Trouble, little sewer, but still I find ya
Cause I’m stinky, manifest, throw you down the stairs like a slinky
Yo, my third eye is blinky

How many artist lie in their verses?? Not sure but I know one who does…

For a long time I have been wanting to do this. To clear up some confusion, if there is any, I understand that some artist may exaggerate their lyrics in order to make a point or send a message. I also understand that artist are allowed to rap from the prospective of people they know or just characters they may portray. I respect artist for taking advantage of their creativity for the betterment of mankind but there’s a time when you have to draw the line. So let me bring to your attention a particular verse by the artist known as Uncle Murda that I have to call shenanigans on. Continue reading

BrandUn deShay – SHAY.$.A.P. Rocky Freestyle feat. G.L.C. (spaceghostpurp diss)

So Deshay released a new mixtape full of freestyles that he did in 24 hours. All of the tracks are on other people’s beats by the way. It’s free too. I took a listen to it and one song caught my ear. It’s a freestyle over A$AP Rocky’s “Pretty Flacko” beat with Deshay and GLC. I don’t care what nobody says this beat gets me hype everytime I hear it. GLC had the first verse and he did a pretty good job. I was anxious to hear how Deshay was going to sound on this beat because his style is a bit more smooth. All of sudden out of nowhere DeShay start going in on SpaceGhostPurp. I have no idea where this stemmed from but I was feeling the flow and what he was saying sounded legit for the most part. Peep this Continue reading

Schoolboy Q Beats TV freestyle

Now that I am a believer when it comes to Schoolboy Q, I have to try to help Satch to see the talent that this kid possesses. I sent Satch this video a while back just to show how his flow is special and his lyrical game is going to the next level. I think that he’s coming into his own. Now I can’t get this freestyle out of my head. Peep these lyrics… Continue reading

Tattooing A Former Fugee

I was watching NY Ink the other, which is one of my favorite shows on right now, and John Forte walks in to get some new ink. Well John Forte is a former Fugee, mostly writing and composing for the group. It was crazy to see him walk into the shop and the tattoo artist, Tommy, knew who he was and some of his history. Well as John Forte is getting a tat of his mother on him he confesses Continue reading

Just My Thoughts on the BET Cyphers

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards brought along a whole new slew of cyphers featuring veterans to new MCs. This was my only reason for watching it. After seeing them all, it was pretty apparant who stood out…

Big KRIT came raw, staying true to his style, speaking on things that matter and ending nicely with a “thank God and stay humble”. I still find his style quite interesting the way he throws his heart, soul and life in a verse while still staying funky as hell. Continue reading
